Easter Crafternoon

Easter Crafternoon

For this month’s crafternoon we created bleach bottle bunny baskets. These used to be sold as a kit in the 70’s by a company called Lustre-film. We used a mix batch of plastic bottles from vinegar, bleach, to almond milk. For the colorful film we used colored cellophane and it worked out perfectly.
The white elephant swap was Easter baskets and we played a game where we start with our own baskets, then pass around cards (I made them with creepy vintage Easter Bunny photos) and the cards tell you where to pass your basket. Once the cards are done hopefully everyone has a different basket, but on the times when someone has their own basket back in the end we just go through a few more cards again until everyone has a basket they didn’t bring. Works really well without the “stealing” that goes with most white elephant games.
